North Regional Library

As a key component to neighborhood revitalization, the City of Minneapolis chose to renovate the 1970’s era North Regional Library. The library was to become an enticing, energetic, alternative gathering space for neighborhood youth and young adults.

Saint Anthony Park Library
Saint Paul, MN
Renovated in the 1960’s, the Saint Anthony Park Carnegie Library lost the signature of a Cass Gilbert design. Suspended ceilings covered the 20-foot high ornate plaster ceilings and the palladial arched windows. Original pendant light fixtures were removed and surface mounted strip fluorescent fixtures took their place.
